The Conference
Fuzzy sets were introduced by Prof. L.A. Zadeh in 1965, marking a significant breakthrough in mathematical and computational sciences. Over the years, extensive research has been conducted, leading to the development of various extensions such as intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval-valued fuzzy sets, bipolar fuzzy sets, picture fuzzy sets, neutrosophic fuzzy sets, and m-polar fuzzy sets. These advanced frameworks have been successfully applied to solve complex mathematical problems as well as real-world challenges in fields such as home appliances, medical sciences, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and many others. Notably, AI has emerged as one of the most impactful domains benefiting from fuzzy logic.
The year 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the invention of fuzzy sets, a milestone that calls for celebration and reflection on the progress made in this field. To commemorate this occasion, we are organizing the International Conference on Mathematical Aspects of Fuzzy Logic and its Applications, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the latest advancements, share innovative ideas, and explore future research directions.
As part of this mega event, we will recognize and honour distinguished scientists who have made significant contributions to the field with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, young researchers will be acknowledged for their outstanding work through dedicated Young Scientist Awards. Selected sessions will also feature Best Paper Awards to encourage and appreciate paper presenters.
We believe this conference will serve as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and inspiration, paving the way for discoveries and advancements in fuzzy logic and its diverse applications. We look forward to an enriching and memorable event that strengthens our global research community.
The Academy
The Sridharacharya Academy of Mathematical Sciences (SAAMS) is a registered professional organization established in 2024 in honour of Sridharacharya, a renowned Indian mathematician, known for his two surviving works on arithmetic and practical mathematics, Pāṭīgaṇita and Pāṭīgaṇita-sāra, and a now-lost treatise on algebra, Bījagaṇita. SAAMS is dedicated to advancing active and high-quality research in various branches of mathematics and fostering intellectual and cultural development. The academy has nurtured a vibrant research culture among mathematicians in India.
SAAMS is committed to promoting mathematical research that has real-world applications. The organization believes in the power of mathematics to solve complex problems and drive innovation in various fields such as technology, engineering, economics, and social sciences. By fostering creativity and critical thinking, SAAMS aims to expand the possibilities in mathematical research:
OBJECTIVES:
(a) To encourage and promote research in the form of workshops, seminars, and conferences.
(b) To write, compile, and publish journals, books, and reports in mathematical sciences.
(c) To promote mathematical study in schools.
(d) To provide awards to distinguished persons in different categories.
(e) To provide certificates to scientists in a globally recognized database.
